Johnathan Cohen M.D.
Dr. Jonathan Cohen has co-authored numerous articles on his research findings in gastroenterology and endoscopy and presented results of his studies at several scientific meetings. He is the editor of the recently published textbook entitled, “Comprehensive Atlas of High-Resolution Endoscopy and Narrowband Imaging”. He also frequently lectures at medical schools and conferences and has directed several courses and seminars at the national and local level. He is a past President of the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Cohen provides general gastroenterology care to his Concorde Medical Group patients and performs specialized advanced therapeutic endoscopy procedures at NYU such as ERCP. He has an expertise in the field of disorders of the bile duct, pancreas, and liver.
Dr. Cohen graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Medical School. He was an intern and a resident at The Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, a fellow in gastroenterology at UCLA in Los Angeles and an advanced fellow in interventional therapeutic endoscope at The Wellesley Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Cohen is also a Clinical Professor of Medicine within the NYU Division of Gastroenterology.
